6月 29, 2015

As the main southern development corridor in Johor, it was designed with investors in mind.

Roughly three times the size of Singapore with an area of 2,217 sq km,
it was established on the 8th of November, 2006.
Upon launching, its total population was 1,350,000 habitants,
of which total work force was 610,000 heads.

The project is administered by the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA)
and was named after the late Sultan of Johor, Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.

Because of its strategic location, accessibility to leading Asian cities,
proximity to some of the world’s most rapidly growing and important economies,
and a range of attractive fiscal incentives,
Iskandar Malaysia is poised to attract an exciting influx of foreign and
high-level corporate investments as discerning investors look to benefit
from its many advantages and high growth potential.
