NHK NEW FACTORY PROJECT

NHK MANUFACTURING (M) SDN BHD, a subsidiary of NHK Spring Co., Ltd., expanded its Senawang site in Seremban, Malaysia, with a new factory featuring advanced cleanroom technology to meet rising semiconductor demand in ASEAN. Our company supported the project from the feasibility study through to completion, including contractor selection, cost evaluations, design assistance, and on-site quality control. The factory was successfully completed in August 2024.

Project Characteristics

• Efficiency with BIM and Precast Floor Construction: Used BIM and precast floor construction to shorten the timeline, improve design accuracy, and reduce costs. BIM ensured precise planning for cleanroom equipment layout.

• Cost Savings through Separate Procurement: Separately procured WWTP, DI&DO systems, scrubbers, and office furniture, achieving significant cost reductions while maintaining strict quality and schedule management.
