Award Ceremony for “CM Award 2023” by Construction Management Association of Japan (CMAJ) was held on 16th June 2023, and Plus PM received Excellent Award.
It is an annual program awarding the successful construction management (CM) projects in Japan and overseas. Construction Management Association of Japan sponsor the program to promote CM and the transparent system of construction industry. Another purpose of the program is to foster construction management professionals with ethical values.
The winning project was “Travelodge Honmachi Osaka Project,” which involved renovating an existing hotel in Japan for a Malaysian developer that operates its first subsidiary in Japan.
In this project, Plus PM was able to visualize the international gap such as the different regulations, contracts and business customs and achieved a shortened construction period through innovative tender methods and progress management. Another point that dedicated to the award is our ability to effectively utilize the collaboration between our HQ office in Japan and the local Malaysia subsidiary to proceed the project smoothly during the pandemic of COVID-19.
